Privacy Policy

Through Entrepreneurship Inc ("we," "us," "our") is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit (EIN 33-1687251). This policy explains what information we collect through throughentrepreneurship.com (the "Site"), how we use it, and the choices you have. Plain summary first: we collect only what you give us and basic analytics, we never sell your data, and you can opt out of communications at any time.

1. Information you give us

When you submit a form on the Site — contact, volunteer interest, program application, mentor interest, board application, newsletter signup, or research report request — we collect the information you enter, such as your name, email address, phone number, and the content of your message or application. Form submissions are delivered to and stored in our customer relationship management system (operated on the GoHighLevel platform) so we can respond to you and administer programs.

2. Text message (SMS) consent

Some forms include optional checkboxes for SMS communications. If you check the transactional box, we may text you about the thing you asked about — application status, event reminders, program logistics. If you check the marketing box, we may occasionally text you about programs and announcements. Consent is not a condition of any application, purchase, or donation. Message and data rates may apply, message frequency varies, and you can opt out at any time by replying STOP (or get help by replying HELP). We do not share your SMS consent or phone number with third parties for their own marketing.

3. Donation information

Donations are processed by Stripe. Your payment card details go directly to Stripe and are never received or stored by us; we receive your name, email, donation amount, and frequency so we can issue receipts and acknowledgments. Stripe's handling of your information is described in Stripe's own privacy policy.

4. Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the Site is used — pages visited, general location, device type, and events such as form submissions and completed donations. This data is aggregated and does not include the content of your submissions. You can limit analytics collection with browser tools such as the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.

5. How we use information

We use the information we collect to run our programs, respond to inquiries, process and acknowledge donations, send updates you have requested, evaluate and publish aggregate program results (never individually identifying you without consent), and meet our legal obligations as a nonprofit.

6. What we don't do

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with third parties for their own marketing. We share information only with the service providers that operate the Site and our programs (currently: Vercel for hosting, GoHighLevel for CRM and communications, Stripe for payments, Google for analytics, and Buzzsprout for podcast delivery), each bound to use it only to provide their service — and where required by law.

7. Data retention and security

We keep form and donor records as long as needed to administer programs and satisfy nonprofit recordkeeping requirements. We use reputable providers, encrypted connections (HTTPS), and access controls, though no method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure.

8. Children

The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information online. Youth program participation is arranged through schools and partnering organizations with parent or guardian consent.

9. Your choices

You may unsubscribe from emails via the link in any message, stop SMS by replying STOP, and request access to or deletion of your information by emailing team@throughentrepreneurship.com. We will respond within a reasonable time and honor applicable legal rights.
